‘How does UN recognition harm peace?’, asks Palestinian UN rep

Palestinian representative to the UN, Ziad Abu Amr has told the UN Security Council that granting Palestinians a sovereign state will pave the way for peace in the region. The UNSC is due to vote on a Palestinian bid for full UN membership.
