Tamer Qarmout
Dr Tamer Qarmout is an Assistant Professor in Public Policy at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. Prior to joining academia, Dr Qarmout worked f... or the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in several management positions. His research focuses on public policy analysis, good governance, public administration reform, foreign aid, and conflict resolution. He also has expertise in the areas of policy development, strategic planning, management, institutional reform, and public sector capacity development. He has significant program management experience dealing with stakeholders in planning and implementing large programs aimed at building institutional and governance capacities of public and nonprofit organizations, and post conflict early recovery and reconstruction schemes. Prior to joining the Doha Institute, he worked as a lecturer and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
