Dr Wanjiru Kamau-Rutenberg is a member of the Board of Directors at The Global FoodBanking Network, which supports community-led solutions to alleviat... e hunger in nearly 50 countries. She is an Africa Food Prize selection committee member, a Ford Foundation Champion of Democracy, and a 2018 Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow. Dr Kamau-Rutenberg has been listed as one of the 100 Most Influential Africans and 100 Most Reputable Africans, one of Kenya’s Top 40 Women Under 40, a United Nations Intercultural Innovation Award recipient, and a White House Champion of Change during the Obama Administration.
