My an­ces­tors were ex­pelled from our vil­lage 76 years ago; to­day my fam­i­ly are forced to flee once again.

I re­turned to my home­land Pales­tine to see and ex­pe­ri­ence what I had only heard in fam­i­ly sto­ries.

Is­rael is a sig­na­to­ry to the Con­ven­tion Against Tor­ture and yet it con­tin­ues to tor­ture Pales­tini­ans with im­puni­ty.
